In the recent past, Chinese analyst @Pan Jiutang had said on Weibo that Huawei will be releasing smartphones with full-screen displays that will support an aspect ratio of 18:9 early in the second half of the year. He may be speculating about the Honor Note 9 as the Huawei Mate 10 is slated to get announced in October this year. An alleged image of the Honor Note 9 has surfaced to hint that its arrival is drawing near.
As it can be seen in the above image, the alleged Note 9 does not seem feature any bezels on the sides of the display. The upper bezel is little and so is the bottom bezel that houses the “honor” logo. The volume buttons and Power key appear to be placed on the right.
Previous leaks have revealed that the Honor Note 9 will be coming with a 6.6-inch display that will be delivering 2K resolution. Since the Kirin 970 chipset will debut with Huawei Mate 9, speculations are rife that the Honor Note 9 will be driven by Kirin 960. The SoC will be coupled with 6 GB RAM and 64 GB storage. It is expected to come with a 5,000mAh battery.
