Many users have reported that the notifications do not appear on the lock screen after updating their Android device to Lollipop OS and even the widgets are not there. This is because Lollipop does not have the lock screen widgets feature. However, music controls and other things are still available as minor notifications.
Follow the steps listed below to turn on the notifications on lock screen:
- Go to Settings – > Sound & Notifications – > When device is locked. Now, selection the option ‘Hide sensitive notification content’ or ‘Show all notification content.’ Verify whether lock screen notifications appear.
