Earlier today, a leaked photo showing multiple box packages of the alleged Redmi Note 5A had appeared. Now, well-known leakster has revealed some information on the specifications of the alleged smartphone that has surfaced on Weibo.

The Redmi Note 5A is rumored to feature a 5.5-inch full HD screen that will be coupled with FT5435 FocalTech touchscreen controller. The Redmi Note 5A will be driven by Snapdragon MSM8953 chipset (Snapdragon 625) that will be supported by 4 GB of RAM. It will be featuring 64 GB of storage. It is expected to feature dual rear cameras featuring a OmniVision OV12A10 wide angle sensor and a OV13880 sensor. it is expected to come with a Samsung S5K5E8 sensor at the front. It seem that it will be arriving with a FPC1020 fingerprint scanner that would be probably placed on its rear.
The alleged Redmi Note 5A is expected to arrive as a lower-end version of Redmi Note 5. This can be guessed as the Redmi 4A had arrived with polycarbonate body and lower specs compared to Redmi 4. Hence, the Redmi Note 5A is expected to come with plastic chassis, lower specs and pricing than the Redmi Note 5.
