If you find that your Google Nexus 7 does not turn on or does not charge at all, when you plug it in, here are a couple of things that you can try out. It has been seen that this problem crops up if the battery of Google Nexus 7 is completely drained or if you leave the tablet on without using it for long periods
- Hold the Power button down for half a minute. This should restart the Nexus 5.
- If the above does not work, plug in the charger and press Power button and Volume Down button together at the same time. You will see that there is a menu bar popping up. With the help of the Volume rocker, move down to Power Off and press the Power button to select it. When the Nexus 7 is off, take the charger off the tablet and then plug it back again. This should show the battery sign again.
