Some users have reported that their Moto G phone does not turn on. It does not respond to the power key or the pressing of any other key and appears as if it is completely dead.
Follow the steps given below to resolve the issue:
- Connect the phone to a standard charger. Now, simultaneously press and hold down the Power button and the volume down button for more than 2 minutes, or till the time the boot screen comes up on the display. The ‘normal reboot’ will be highlighted on the boot screen. Use the volume up button to select it and boot the device.
- Once the phone boots up, charge the battery till it is at 100 percent. You may then begin using the phone.
- If the issue persists, visit a service center for repair or replacement of the handset. You may also contact Motorola, the carrier, or the retailer over the phone.
