Redmi is currently in the process of developing its upcoming smartphone series, the Redmi Note 13. Recent reports indicate that these new devices are expected to be launched in the global market soon, as they have successfully obtained certification from the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC). The EEC certification includes the model number 2312DRAABG for the Redmi Note 13 series, while another Redmi phone with the model number 23090RA98G has also received certification. Prior to this, the Note 13 series was listed in the IMEI database with model number 2312DRAABC, which is likely a derivative model of the series.
While there is limited information available about the Redmi Note 13 series, digital blogger @数码问话站 has shared some details. The upcoming devices are rumored to feature a 6.7-inch centred hole-punched OLED display. Additionally, it is expected that the phones will introduce a new bracket design with four narrow sides on the front, replacing the previous plastic bracket. This change aims to enhance the overall design and texture of the devices.
Furthermore, reports suggest that the Redmi Note 13 series is undergoing testing with MIUI 15, and it is likely to come pre-installed with the new system. The icon design in MIUI 15 is said to adopt a rounded rectangular shape with a prominent arc, while the overall interface is expected to offer a more simplified and concise experience. The new system is also said to optimize resource usage for 64-bit applications, ultimately improving the overall system’s performance and smoothness.
Although an exact release date is not yet known, it is anticipated that the Redmi Note 13 series will make its official debut in the second half of this year.
