Our opinion
With the Snapdragon 8 Elite, the Oppo Find N5 will be the first foldable to launch with this chipset, giving it a significant edge over its competitors. In 2025, several foldable devices, including the Honor Magic V4, Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7, Huawei Mate X7, and Vivo X Fold 4, are expected to arrive. Except for Huawei, all these devices are likely to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite but are slated for a second-half launch in 2025. This early release gives Oppo a strong advantage in the foldable smartphone market.
