Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy A37 and Galaxy A57 in the coming weeks. Ahead of any official announcement, the Galaxy A57, bearing the model number SM-A5760, has now appeared in China’s TENAA certification database. As usual, the listing offers an early look at the phone’s core specifications, giving us a fair idea of what Samsung is preparing for its mid-range lineup. Here is everything that has been revealed so far through the TENAA listing.
Samsung Galaxy A57 specifications
According to TENAA, the Galaxy A57 will feature a 6.6-inch color display with a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. The panel supports 16 million colours, suggesting an AMOLED screen, although the exact display technology has not been explicitly mentioned in the listing.
On the performance front, the Galaxy A57 is listed with an octa-core chipset featuring a tri-cluster CPU setup. The cores are clocked at up to 2.9GHz, 2.6GHz, and 1.95GHz. While TENAA does not name the processor, this configuration points towards the forthcoming Exynos 1680 chip.
In terms of memory and storage, the Galaxy A57 is expected to launch in 8GB and 12GB RAM variants. The TENAA listing confirms 256GB of internal storage, which should be sufficient for most users without immediate reliance on external storage. It packs a 4,905mAh rated battery, which suggests its typical value could be around 5,000mAh. The TUV listing image shown below reveals that it may support 45W fast charging.
The Galaxy A57 will feature a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 50MP primary sensor, a 12MP secondary camera, and a 5MP third sensor. For selfies and video calls, the phone will pack a 12MP front-facing camera.
Additionally, TENAA confirms that the Galaxy A57 will come equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor, along with standard biometric face recognition support. The phone measures 161.5 x 76.8 x 6.9mm, making it notably slim, and it weighs 182 grams.
With the TENAA certification now live, an official launch of the Samsung Galaxy A57 appears to be just around the corner. More details, including pricing and availability, should surface soon.
