On July 12, Honor will unveil the Honor Magic V3 foldable phone. So far, the rumor mill has been leaking the specs of the V3 in bits and pieces. New leaks that have surfaced on Weibo have revealed some more details about the device.
According to the leaker, the Magic V3 is set to feature a 5,200mAh battery with 66W fast charging capabilities. It is also said to support wireless charging. Under the hood, the device will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. For enhanced haptics, it will feature an x-axis linear motor.
The camera system includes a 50MP triple camera setup with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) and a periscope telephoto camera that offers 3.5x optical zoom, according to additional reports. Additionally, the Honor Magic V3 is expected to feature a version with satellite communication capabilities.
The official images of the Magic V3 have revealed that it has a side-facing fingerprint scanner. Despite its powerful components, the device maintains a sleek profile with a 9.7mm thickness and weighs 226g. The foldable phone will offer an IPX8 waterproof rating. Its durability is reinforced by a metal middle frame. The brand has already confirmed that it will be available in brown, black, white, and green colors.
