A screenshot shown above shows that when the tipster was asked about the launch date of the Honor V40, he responded by saying Jan. 12. The company is yet to reveal any information on the arrival of the Honor V40.
There are conflicting reports above the models that belong to the Honor V40. Recently, an Honor phone with model number NWE-AN10 was spotted at GameBench benchmarks. The listing revealed that the phone features a 90Hz display and Dimensity 1000+ chipset.
On other side, previous reports have claimed that the Honor V40’s model number is YOK-AN10. This handset was spotted with a 66W fast charger at 3C’s database in the recent past. Probably, the company could be announcing two versions of the Honor V40 on the said date.
Honor recently confirmed that it will be holding its annual fan meeting on Jan. 13 in China. This has given birth to rumors that the Honor V40 could be made official a day prior to the fan meeting. There are speculations that apart from launching the Honor V40 phone, the company may also announce a Honor Smart Screen TV soon.
Rumors surrounding the Honor V40 have claimed that it could be sporting the same 6.72-inch OLED panel with curved edges that are available on Huawei Nova 8 Pro that went official in December. It could be sporting a 50-megapixel quad camera setup. Some rumors have claimed that it may carry support for wireless charging.
