One of the common problems with HTC One M8 is Bluetooth problem, actually this is a problem with almost all smartphones at the most inopportune moments. Here are some ways to solve the issue –
- Make sure that the firmware in both the devices (your HTC and the other pairing device) is current and working fine.
- Delete the other previous instances of pairing with your phone and other device. For this, you have to go to Settings – Bluetooth. Try the connecting process again.
- Sometimes, special characters that are used when you name you device, can pose a problem. You can check your device name and correct it by going to Settings – Bluetooth and Device Name.
- Check out if the message functionality is working by going to Settings – Bluetooth – Advanced.
