Earlier this month, Lenovo confirmed that it will announce Legion Y700 (2023) gaming tablet on July 22. One notable feature of this tablet is the inclusion of dual USB-C ports, which support bypass charging. This allows users to charge their devices while still being able to use headphones, eliminating the inconvenience of choosing between charging or using headphones.
The Legion Y700 tablet also boasts impressive performance enhancements. It is equipped with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, manufactured using TSMC’s 4nm process, replacing the previous Snapdragon 870. This upgrade is expected to significantly improve gaming performance. The tablet features a 6550mAh battery and LPDDR5X memory, ensuring ample power and battery life.
The front of the Legion Y700 (2023) showcases an 8.8-inch 2.5K LCD screen with a 144Hz refresh rate. It offers 2.0DC dimming and 500nits brightness. Additionally, the screen supports an ultra-low-latency stylus with 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity.
Lenovo has also focused on enhancing the tablet’s usability. The Legion Y700 has been designed to be lighter, with a weight reduction from 378g to 348g, and a thinner profile at 7.6mm. These improvements aim to provide users with a more comfortable grip and reduce fatigue during extended gaming sessions.
