Many Moto E owners have complained about blurry photos and poor quality of pictures captured by the inbuilt primary camera. The phone comes with a 5 megapixel camera. However, it does not have any additional features such as flash, auto-focus, etc. The Moto E also does not have a front-facing secondary camera.
Follow the steps listed below to resolve the issue:
- The HDR mode is set to the ‘auto’ option by default. Users may change the HDR mode to ‘on’ so as to improve the resolution of the photos. The resultant pictures will be less blurry, more vibrant, sharper, and with better colors.
- There is no way to change or undo the fixed focus feature of the camera on the Moto E phone. Hence, photos taken in low light conditions or close-up photos or shots will never be of great quality. This is something that customers of Moto E need to live with.
