Motorola is reportedly working on the Moto G85 smartphone for different markets. It is speculated that the Motorola bearing the XT2427, which has appeared in the databases of FCC, Geekbench, Hi-Res audio, and India’s BIS, could be the upcoming Moto G85. The Hi-Res Audio certification revealed multiple variants, such as XT2427-1, XT2427-2, XT247-3, and XT2427-4. In a fresh development, the XT2427-3 variant was recently spotted at the BIS certification in India. It appears that the XT2427-4 is the model number for the Chinese market, as it received approval from the TENAA certification of the country.
Moto G85 specifications
The Moto G85 TENAA listing reveals that it measures 161.9 x 73 x 7.5mm and weighs 171 grams. The device is equipped with a 6.6-inch OLED panel that offers an FHD+ resolution and mostly likely 90Hz or 120Hz refresh rate.
The Geekbench listing of the device revealed that it has the Snapdragon 4 Gen 3 chipset. However, the TENAA listing only mentions that it has a 2.3GHz octa-core chip. In China, it will have 8GB / 12GB / 16GB / 18GB of RAM and 128GB / 256GB / 512GB / 1TB of storage.
The G85 has a 5,000mAh battery (4,850mAh rated value), but its charging capabilities are not known yet. It has a 50MP + 8MP dual-camera system on the back and a 32MP front camera. In addition, the device has an in-screen fingerprint sensor. It is expected to arrive in black, green, and blue shades.
