Realme has announced that the GT Neo5, an upcoming smartphone in the company’s GT series, will be released in China on February 9. It will release in India later this year. The model looks immensely stylish with a purple color body.
Realme GT Neo 5 Charging time and Battery
The Realme GT Neo 5 will include 240W charging, which will be the company’s quickest charging technology to date and will be included as standard.
The 240W charging cable is capable of fully charging the device under 8 minutes. You can expects 2 hours of talk-time within 30 seconds of charging.
High charging speeds raise a number of challenges, with heating being one of the main ones.
According to the source citing Realme, 13 real-time sensors will monitor the 240W rapid charging, and the smartphone will include fireproof materials and a number of certifications to ensure user safety.
The Realme GT Neo 5 will also have the “biggest cooling space in the industry” for the best heat insulation.
There are persistent rumors that the GT Neo 5 will be available in two different charging speed variants, one with 150W and the other with 240W.
The charging variant with 150W would have a battery capacity of 5000 mAh, while the charging variant with 240W would have a battery capacity of 4,500 mAh.
The company suggests in a teaser that the 240W charger is capable of providing up to 2 hours of talk time after only 30 seconds of charging.
However, the total amount of time required for charging has not yet been disclosed.The company also notes that even with the 240W, the smartphone has a potential lifespan of more than four years when used normally.

Realme GT Neo 5 – Camera
The company provided a sneak peek at the design of the GT Neo5, demonstrating that the rear panel of the upcoming smartphone will have a triple camera setup housed within a dual camera island as well as an LED light. The teaser demonstrates that the GT Neo5 has a triple camera setup for the rear of the device.
A 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS), an 8-megapixel IMX355 ultrawide camera, and a 2-megapixel macro camera might make up the triple camera setup.
The front-facing camera of the smartphone could have a resolution of 16 mega pixels.
Another interesting thing is that it will come with RGB lights near the triple camera setup at the rear.
