How the Asus Zenfone 10 will leave a mark on the smartphone industry
A few months ago, the Asus Zenfone 10 launched with impressive features and an impressive design. While keeping things simple and very similar to its predecessor in terms of design, this device still stands out. With its Super AMOLED 5.9-inch screen, this device is one of the most compact Android devices available for purchase today.
Despite coming in a small package, the latest entry into the Zenfone line-up packs the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. It pairs this processor with up to 16GB worth of RAM and 512GB worth of storage, which is comparable with most flagship devices. For performance and fast response, this device offers users a 144Hz refresh rate, which will ensure butter-smooth transitions.
In terms of photography, this device doesn’t miss a beat as it packs a dual rear camera setup. The main camera is a 50MP lens and the secondary camera is a 13MP lens, both offering 8K video recording. On the front sits a 32MP selfie camera sensor which takes impressive shots even in low light conditions.
Powering the device is a 4300mAh battery capacity that supports 30W wired charging, 15W wireless charging, and 5W reverse wireless charging. The fingerprint sensor on this device is side-mounted, unlike other flagship devices with under-display sensors. While these specifications are impressive, this might be the last time we get to see them under the Zenfone branding.
Another iconic entry from the Asus Zenfone line-up was the Zenfone 7 Flip, with its flipping camera. This was an impressive device design that Asus dropped for more compact entries, starting with the Zenfone 9. This smartphone series from Asus will be missed, but we look forward to seeing more performance devices from the ROG line-up.
