Vivo is rumoured to launch the Vivo V50 in India this February, most likely in the third week. Unlike its predecessor, the V50 will introduce a refreshed design and upgraded internals. A new leak from tipster Abhishek Yadav has shed light on the key specifications of the Indian variant.
Vivo V50 specifications (rumored)
The Vivo V50 is expected to feature a 6.7-inch quad-curved display with a 120Hz refresh rate, ensuring smooth visuals. Powering the device is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, coupled with Android 15 out of the box. For photography, the phone is likely to sport a dual-camera setup on the back, consisting of a 50MP primary sensor and a 50MP secondary sensor. On the front, users can expect a high-resolution 50MP selfie camera.
One of the standout features of the Vivo V50 is its massive 6,000mAh battery, designed to last long while maintaining durability for up to four years. It will support 90W fast charging, ensuring quick top-ups. The device is also expected to come with an IP68 and IP69 rating, making it resistant to dust and water.
Vivo V50 price in India (rumored)
The Vivo V50 is expected to be priced around Rs 37,999 in India, keeping it under the Rs 40,000 mark. If accurate, this positions it as a strong competitor in the premium mid-range segment.
Vivo V50 appears to be a tweaked version of the Vivo S20
The Vivo V50 seems to share most of its specifications with the recently launched Vivo S20 in China. However, a key difference is in the rear camera setup, where the S20 features a 50MP + 8MP combination, while the Indian V50 variant reportedly comes with two 50MP sensors. Other specifications remain largely identical, making it a minor regional adjustment.
