Several reports have claimed that the Xiaomi 15 Ultra will be unveiled later this month in China as well as for the global market. A leaked poster revealing the launch date for the Chinese market has emerged online. At the same time, a hands-on video of the Xiaomi 15 Ultra has to reveal its rear design.
Xiaomi 15 Ultra launch date
While there is no clarity about the authenticity of the above image, it reveals that the Xiaomi 15 Ultra is set to debut at 7 pm on February 26 in China. The below hands-on video gives a good look at the phone’s renewed camera module.
As can be seen, the 15 Ultra has a massive round camera module featuring a pill-shaped LED flash on the top, which is followed by the Leica branding and a periscope camera. The bottom line houses the three other cameras of the phone
Rumors have it that the Xiaomi 15 Ultra camera setup will have a one-inch 50MP primary camera with OIS support, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, a 50MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, and a 200MP periscope telephoto camera with 4.3x optical zoom.
Other specs include a 6.8-inch AMOLED display that produces a 2K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, and a 6,000mAh battery with 90W wired and 50W wireless charging. The phone will run on HyperOS 2-based Android 15.
