Xiaomi is rumored to introduce a new series of smartphones called the Xiaomi X. Speculations are rife that the Xiaomi X1 will be the first smartphone in this series. A couple of leaked renders of the alleged Xiaomi X1 have been revealed by Chinese leakster, Kumato Technology. The images match with the image of the TPU case that alleged belong to Xiaomi X1. Hence, it seems that these new images belong to Xiaomi X1.
The same leakster has revealed that the Xiaomi X1 would be coming with a 5.5-inch Pegasus display with full-screen design. It is expected to produce a resolution of 2,160 x 1,080 pixels. This seems quite evident from the images that have surfaced. The Snapdragon 660 chipset is rumored to power the Xiaomi X1.
The placement of the rear-facing fingerprint reader and dual rear cameras are same as it can be seen in the image of the TPU case of Xiaomi X1. The leakster has revealed that dual camera system includes IMX362 or IMX386 sensors. The front side of the phone also seems to sport dual cameras. The phone sports rounded corners and the buttons such as volume up and down buttons and Power key appears to be present on the left side.
According to the previous Weibo post of the leakster, Xiaomi X1 is speculated to come in two models, one featuring a regular display and another one featuring a full-screen display. The Xiaomi X1 with regular screen may come in 4 GB + 64 GB storage priced at 1,999 Yuan (~$294) or 2,299 Yuan (~$339) and 4 GB + 128 GB storage costing 2,499 Yuan (~$368) or 2,799 Yuan (~$412). The full-screen model is likely to come in 6 GB + 64 GB storage model priced at 2,299 Yuan (~$339) and 6 GB RAM + 128 GB costing 2,799 Yuan (~$412). The leakster has also claimed that Xiaomi may have canceled Redmi Pro 2. As far as Xiaomi X1 launch is concerned, it is expected to debut in this month.
