Yesterday, a leaked poster of the alleged Xiaomi 5X had appeared. It is speculated to arrive as the first smartphone from Xiaomi’s new sub-brand to take on brands like Oppo and Vivo in offline markets. Today, a clearer image of the leaked poster along with more details on its specs.
The leaked poster suggest that the smartphone would be coming with a 5.5-inch display. It is likely to support full HD resolution. It is powered by Snapdragon 625 chipset and 4 GB of RAM. This seems to be a low configuration version of the Xiaomi 5X that will be carrying a price tag of 1,999 Yuan (~$294).
New information suggests that there will be a higher version of the Xiaomi 5X featuring Snapdragon 660 chipset and 6 GB of RAM. It will be coming with a 12-megapixel dual rear camera module featuring Sony IMX386 sensor and Samsung S5k3m3 sensor. Its selfie camera will be of 16-megapixel.
The Xiaomi 5X would be running on Android 7.1.1 Nougat based on MIUI 9. It is speculated to debut on July 26. It is the same date when Meizu will be debuting the Meizu PRO 7.
