A Chinese leakster has revealed that Xiaomi would be soon introducing a new series of smartphones. Nothing much is known about this smartphone. A Chinese leakster has already revealed a leaked image of the phone on Weibo. Another Chinese leakster mmddj_china claims that it is neither xiaomi (probably referring Mi) or Redmi series.

Soon after releasing the above image, Xiaomi fans started speculating on the name of the phone. The leakster has said that it is not the Xiaomi X1 or Redmi Pro 2. When he was asked whether the smartphone could be Xiaomi Jason, he answered by “may be.” The leaked image shows that it is featuring a dual rear camera module at the top-left corner that is coupled with a dual-tone flash on its left. It seems to feature front-mounted fingerprint reader.

The leakster has revealed that it is running on Snapdragon 660 chipset. The Xiaomi Jason has already appeared on GFXBench with specs like 5.1-inch full screen display, 6 GB RAM, 64 GB native storage, 3-meagpixel selfie camera. One of the sensors of the dual camera module will be a 12-megapixel snapper.
