OnePlus Ace 2 Pro will launch as what fans around the industry will like to call a ‘flagship killer.’ This device will launch in August, and it’d pack some impressive specifications and features. One of its features just got announced at the China Joy expo that just took place.
The said feature will help users push the coming OnePlus Ace 2 Pro to the limit without it overheating. This feature will not only save the battery’s health, but it’d also make the coming flagship killer an impressive gaming device. OnePlus says that this new Taingong cooling system is the world’s first of its kind, and it borrows some ideas from aerospace rockets.
This aerospace-grade three-dimensional cooling system will use the largest cooling area on any smartphone. At 9,140 sq mm, this cooling system will perform better than the Lenovo Legion Y70, which currently has the largest cooling surface area. Asides from this impressive cooling system, the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro will also pack a performance punch.

Possible specifications of the coming OnePlus Ace 2 Pro
During the China Joy event, the president of OnePlus’ product line spoke briefly about this device’s specifications. In his speech, he pointed out the processor that the coming device will launch using. Armed with this processor, the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro will go head-to-head against some flagship devices available for purchase today.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor will power this device, just like we see on the OnePlus 11. There are no available details on this device’s specifications, as it might only launch in China. Last year, OnePlus launched the Ace Pro in China and this device arrived globally as the OnePlus 10T.
This might be the case with the coming entry into the Ace line-up that’d launch next month. OnePlus might make this device available in China under the Ace 2 Pro name. Globally it might launch under another name, some sources have linked this device to the rumoured OnePlus 12R.
If this is the case, then the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro might launch with a 120Hz 6.7-inch AMOLED FHD+ screen display. It might also pack up to 24GB RAM and 1TB storage. On the rear might sit three cameras with a 50MP main sensor and on the front a 32MP selfie camera.
According to the leaks, the 5000mAh battery on this device will benefit from 150W fast charging. Since these details aren’t official, it’s good that fans take it with a pinch of salt. More details on this device will be made available in the coming weeks.
