The existing device is ready for an upgrade, and leaks point out that the GT5 will succeed it. Also, the moniker present at the China Joy expo proves that the GT5 will soon launch. But what specifications will this device come with, and what smartphone market will it launch in?

Well, those familiar with the matter say that there will be two variants of the GT5, one of which will launch in China. Both variants will be flagship devices that’d pack good performance and features. According to sources, the GT5 will retail in China as the GT Neo 6.

Available details regarding the coming Realme GT5 flagship smartphone

Already, two Realme smartphones have got TENNA certification, pointing out that their launch is near. Both devices are presumably part of the GT Neo 6 series that retail in China. Each device packs a different flagship processor, with the Pro model making use of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC.

The rear design of these devices shown on their TENNA certification page is similar to that of the GT3 smartphone. Outside of China, the GT Neo 6 will launch as the GT5, and it might also be followed by a Pro model. This is unlike the existing GT3 which didn’t launch with a Pro model but made use of the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor.

From the TENNA certification, it’s clear that the coming GT5 devices will launch with up to 16GB RAM capacity. When it comes to its storage, it’d make use of up to 1TB keeping it up to par with other flagship devices. It might also use a 1.5K resolution 6.67-inch OLED screen that supports a 120Hz refresh rate.

On the rear will sit a triple camera setup housing a 50MP main sensor, an 8MP ultrawide, and a 2MP additional sensor. Sources go on to add that upfront will sit a 16MP selfie camera. This device will launch with Android 13 and the Realme UI 4.0 software out of the box.

Impressively, this device might launch with 240W fast charging on its, 4600mAh battery entry. The other will launch with, a 5000mAh battery capacity, and it’d support 150W fast charging. More information on this coming flagship device will be made available in the coming weeks.
