Last week, Oppo confirmed that the Oppo A7 Pro 5G would go on sale on September 11 in China. Ahead of the sale date, the company has officially listed the phone for pre-orders on its official online store. Additionally, it also confirmed the full specifications of the phone. Here’s a look at what the phone brings to the table.
Oppo A7 Pro specifications and features

The Oppo A7 Pro features a 6.57-inch OLED display with a 2372×1080-pixel resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1,400 nits of peak brightness. The 10-bit panel supports 100% DCI-P3 coverage, up to 240Hz touch sampling and a 1,000Hz instantaneous sampling rate. In terms of durability, it carries an IP68/69/69K rating. for dust and water reistance.
The A7 Pro has a 50-megapixel primary rear camera with autofocus and an f/1.9 aperture, alongside an 8-megapixel front camera. The rear camera supports up to 10x digital zoom and 1080p video recording at up to 60fps.

Powering the A7 Pro is the MediaTek Dimensity 6360 Max chipset, an octa-core platform with a maximum clock speed of 2.4GHz. It comes with 6GB or 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. The phone also supports microSD expansion, although the maximum supported capacity is not specified on the official specifications page. The phone runs ColorOS 16 and includes an in-display fingerprint sensor, NFC, an infrared remote, and a 4,300mm² VC cooling unit.
The 8,000mAh battery is one of the phone’s biggest highlights, with support for 45W SuperVOOC and 45W UFCS wired charging. The device also offers 5G connectivity, Wi-Fi 5, GPS and a USB Type-C port. Its rugged build is rated IP69K for protection against water and dust. The phone measures 159.08 × 75.81 × 8.80mm and weighs around 205g.
Oppo A7 Pro 5G price and sale date
The Oppo A7 Pro 5G will be up for purchase in China on September 11 at 10am local time. The pre-sale listing shows a starting price of ¥2,199 ($330), with two memory configurations and three color options:
- 6GB + 256GB: ¥2,199 (~$330)
- 8GB + 256GB: ¥2,499 (~$370)
- Colors: Riding the Waves, Every Step Blossoms and Desert Brown
The phone is scheduled to go on sale through Oppo’s Chinese online store from September 11. Oppo has not yet confirmed an international launch for the A7 Pro.
