A recent update from digital blogger tipster Digital Chat Station revealed information about a new phone equipped with Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, which is speculated to be the OPPO Find X7 Pro. According to the blogger, this Snapdragon 8 Gen 3-powered device will feature Sony IMX9 and IMX8 series lenses. The engineering model of the phone includes a 50-megapixel periscope lens as well. The three cameras are housed inside a large round lens module. On the front, the device is expected to have a centred punch-hole design, housing a Samsung 2K micro-curved screen.
The comment section of the Weibo post saw many netizens speculating that this device is indeed the OPPO Find X7 Pro, as the previous generation, the Find X6 Pro, had similar design elements with a large round lens and a Samsung 2K curved screen.
Qualcomm has announced that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor will be unveiled at the 2023 Snapdragon Summit, scheduled for October 24 to 26. Following this, various Android manufacturers are expected to release flagship phones featuring the new processor.
