The screen is said to have a pixel density of 441 pixels per inch. In addition, the display could have Corning Gorilla Glass for extra protection. With reports indicating that Gorilla Glass 3 will be unveiled at Consumer Electronics Show- CES in 2013, it is likely that it will be available sometimes later in the year. HTC seems to be advancing for release of another smartphone with a display of 1080 pixel. Sources indicate that Taiwanese manufacturer, HTC, is braising up for an advanced version of DroidNDA, which is codenamed M7.

Reports point out that HTC aims at producing more than 5 million M7 units that are set to be released in the first quarter of 2013. It is anticipated that HTM M7will feature a 4.7 inch screen which has a similar resolution for the S4 phone but with more pixel density of 468 ppi. If this turns out to be true, this pixel it will be about 40% higher than the Retina display of iPhone 5 smartphone.

Unwired View further claims that this device has a new screen technology referred to as Solux Display. This technology offers more visual improvement when compared to the previous Super LCD2 standard display. As the competition in smartphones increases, more and more features are expected to be divulged and certainly, the M7 and Galaxy S4 display screens are much anticipated by the smartphone users.

Operating System, User Interface, Processor and Memory

As anticipations are geared up for the Samsung Galaxy S4 and HTC M7 smartphones, more advanced features are likely to be unveiled. Samsung is expected to release its Galaxy S4 with Jelly Bean’s operating system, Android 4.2.1 if not a more advanced version. There is also a possibility that it may feature Key Lime Pie or Android 5.0 if this upcoming software is released in time.

Additionally, S4 is more likely to keep hold of the existing TouchWiz user interface that is used on the predecessor phone Galaxy S3. Similarly, HTC sources have reported that their M7 smartphone will be running Android 4.1.2 or the Jelly Bean. Nonetheless, they are expected to feature a new version of user interface, Sense UI v5.0 that has been said to more cleaner and simpler to use.

In addition, M7 has some more tweaks with the on-screen volume control option expected to feature in the phone. This on-screen volume control option has a shortcut that enables users to gain access to volume setting features with only a click of a button. Much more is anticipated in the processor and memory features of the two hones.

Reports from SamMobile indicate that S4 is more likely to incorporate the Exynos 5450 chip that features a quad-core processor, which is locked at 2GHz. This will be run with a RAM of 2GB and a Mali-T658 graphics unit making it a more powerful smartphone. On the other hand, HTC reports that M7 is likely to run with a 1.7GHz Qualcomm APQ8064 Snapdragon quad-core processor. This will be paired with a RAM of 2GB.
