Recently, news surfaced about Vivo’s upcoming tablet called the Vivo Pad Air, which was listed on the Google Play Supported Devices site with the model number “PA2353.” Alongside Vivo, other prominent Chinese smartphone brands like Xiaomi and OPPO are also gearing up to launch their own tablets in the market. Xiaomi is set to unveil the Xiaomi Pad 6 Max and Redmi Pad 2, while OPPO is working on the OPPO Pad Air. As for Vivo, the Vivo Pad Air has already received approval from China’s 3C certification platform, hinting at a possible launch next month.

The 3C Certification listing for the Vivo Pad Air revealed that the device will support Vivo’s 44W Flash Charge (model number: V4440L0A0-CN). The charger offers various charging modes, including 10W, 44W, 15W, and 18W. While specific specifications for the Vivo Pad Air are yet to be disclosed, it is speculated to be a slim tablet with potentially lower specs compared to the Vivo Pad 2.

Speaking of the Vivo Pad 2, it boasts a 12.1-inch IPS display with 3K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The tablet is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9000 chipset and comes with a large 10,000mAh battery, supporting 44W charging.

As for the camera setup, the Vivo Pad Air is expected to feature a simple 13MP+2MP dual camera configuration for basic photography, with an 8MP selfie lens on the front. The high-end variant of the Vivo Pad Air is anticipated to offer 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.

Apart from tablets, Vivo has more exciting products in the works for the Chinese market. In November, the company is expected to introduce the Vivo Watch 3 smartwatch and the Vivo X100 series. The Vivo X100 and X100 Pro are rumored to be powered by the Dimensity 9300 chipset, while the X100 Pro+ might come equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. Additionally, there are hints that the Vivo X100 Pro+ could potentially launch alongside the Vivo X Fold 3 foldable phone in the first quarter of 2024.
